Am I Famous Now…

Today I got distracted. Only 3 4 days anymore till reboot (yeah it’s a damn designer thing, and since I have no mac I just.want.the.designer.feeling dammit!) and only 8 designs on the todo-list anymore.

Howto?

Besides that I even got distracted today. I felt like having a little break and doing something more nerdier. I felt like participating at one of those ‘desktop contests’ or whatever they are called. I was weaponed for those. I really was. But instead I watched Ice Age 2 and it was… erm… it was… well it was… erm… a sequel?
It was OK, but a sequel. Lets call it one of the better sequels last 20 years.

After Ice Age 2 I had the need to watch another movie. Yeah the ‘desktop thingy’ had definately put me in the movie mood. It was an old movie, but perfect for the ‘desktop thingy’. LOL. Yes LOL deserves a ‘.’. Although I was too lazy to get the digicam I even took a picture of it, sadly in webcam quality. And Photoshop helped me make it even worser.

I wonder if now I will be able to design faster? Oh the second movie? There’s a hint in the picture. And notice in the background @ right ‘the beast’. 900Watt. You don’t want to be my neighbour. No you don’t.

The notebooks? A friend is manager at a big UK-hifi/electronics/media/aso store. Last year they have been saving all the ‘faulty’ returns. A lot of all those returns just felt once or have a faulty button or just any other totally unexplainable no-problem. After having saved a whole year, they donate everything to a local charity group. I heard there are 90 palettes. At least 120 32″ widescreen televisions. Loads of sound systems, even more speakers (hey where do you think my new ones come from) aso.
Of course all the notebooks first get a review before they donate them. Nerdy time!
