At work surprises continue coming to me. After having got a new office yesterday, I got rewarded with a new bird, er assistant today. Yes she is goodlooking, but waayyyy too dangerous for me. She knows too much about computers. Nothing special happened at work today, we’ve been chatting quite a lot and planning the restructuring of the intranet and for the rest we’ve just been preparing our weekend. Finally some days off. After having done some “genuine” overtime - no not what you might think - we went to nipp some cocktails. Actually the overtime was really funny, because during a big part of it I have been trying to set up a new design for my blog. Yes I am bored of this design, because as I think my blog is getting better, my design is just way too “slimline”. So I need something else, a little more “eyecatching”.
I found some nice template, especially the “vamp”ire picture attracted me. But also the template, with a dark (black) background and red characters was tempting. Sadly it was a table-based template and I wasn’t able yet to convert it into a css-design.
That will be a hell load of work, because I will have to use layers in the css. Actually I am even considering to convert my blog into a WordPress-blog. Yes, I am preparing my blog for a better score at Battle of The Blogs. Although I must admit that a vampire-design might not be the appropriate design to get the votes of my favourite waisted housewifes…lol… But I must admit that I like stuff with vampires. Some of my favourite movies definetly belong to the so called “Dark Side”. Among them there are Blade (only the first one) and some movies about exorcism, like The exorcist, Stigmate, Lost Souls and The Calling. Yes, I have a darker side also. That’s definetly the reason why I will get a huge Devil tattooed on my back. No not a little red Devil with a beermug in his hand, but a genuine big and dark picture of my brother. Also the pentagram will be very obvious. This tattoo is actually in planning and pictures will definetely be published.
At the other side off life, I just did myself a favour today during my lunchbreak and bought me the stupidest coffeemug I have ever had. Yes, I needed some self-satisfaction and feel a little better after the events from the last days :: now I drink my coffee out of a Diamond Geezer mug… lol…
Actually just a really boring entry today, but I felt like I had to write something. And please tell my what you think of the vamp-header-picture.
