bed notebook

If all those years I have had computers, and notebooks, there has been one non explored area, it surely was bed. Hell no, not what you think!

I mean I have never been tempted to take the notebook with me in bed. Why? I don’t know, I just like lots of real estate at my desk. Or was I afraid bed would be too comfy?

Well.it.is. Last days I have majorly spend my online time in bed. Papers all over, and getting used to only one screen (usually I use 3). The screen factor surely is a huge change, but all the rest went reaaalllllllllyyyyyyyy smooth.

Actually my whole day routine (when at home) seems to have changed. I get up and instead of moving to the desk, I guess the importance of my parental kitchen table when still living with them made me love desks, and making a coffee before checking mails and feeds has become a lot easier now. I get up, go play big boy while coffee is getting ready and return to bed. The office has been reduced to the notebook case next to bed.
Also I discovered being single has advantages! A double bed offers a great amount of space as desk replacement.

Evenings are not different. I come home, get something to eat and unpack the notebook (no need to reboot, just like every self-respecting Apple freak I put my Windows notebook to sleep). Before I really realize, I am laying in bed and surfing, working and so on.

Although this is quite some new experience to me, I must admit being severely bitten by it. Actually after only some days I plan rearranging some stuff in my space : probably tomorrow the surround Hi-Fi system will move to the bedroom. :D
