Not that long ago, comments revealed a project. I am pretty close to launch the blog. Idea behind Blog Elite is to feature what I, and hopefully other people, think are good blogs. This will happen on an unrequested basis, just as I know, discover the blogs. Except for the feeling of the blog, there will be no such specific criteria as design, typos, grammatical style… unless maybe the discovered honesty in the blog.
Don’t ask me to feature your blog, wether you’re a friend or not, I and, if other contributors join, them will be the only judge.
What might grow out of Blog Elite is unknown. Will it become a network, a directry or a failure? I don’t know.
But back to the main topic of this entry. As long as I have had this idea, one thing has mainly kept me busy : site design. I don’t know what to do with the design. Of course I could use the platform to promote my own designs, but I am not that kind of self-whore. Actually most of time I have been thinking of using free themes (the blog will be WP based) and customizing those themes for the used plug-ins. I think although there are many popular themes out there, a platform featuring blogs, would be ideal to feature/pimp nice design and credit the authors as well.
I hardly ask for participation, advice, but in this case I will. What do you think?

I like this idea. I would say something like “I’d be interested in contributing to this,” but I have this terrible habit of biting off more than I can chew. So for now I’ll just watch with interest.
