It happened. Dooce didn’t win once at the Bloggies. I mean can you imagine this. Huge and well known blog awards, dooce multiple nominated of course… she didn’t win one single time, not once. YAY fucking YAY.
2006 revelation, best blog anything you could think of, except for surprise, is of course postsecret. I gues we all love that blog don’t we. One of my favourites Vegan Lunch Box won the best food blog award. And gets a box of Godiva Chocolate truffles. Bastard.

Vegan Lunch Box…gak. I. can’t. handle. the. tofu. cheese. :cry: It’s so nasty that it makes me puke a little in my mouth thinking about it. I know that I can never be a vegan due to my intense love of cheese and the lack of decent non-cow’s milk cheese.
I’m thinking Dooce is nearly ‘past her prime’ in blogdom. Sux 2 B her, eh?

KG :: I like the ‘consistency’ @ Vegan Lunch Box, daily… day after day… week after week… I hate vegan, but don’t really need meat, even though I love a nice rare steak :D
The nominations where based on number of votes. They never told how many votes a blog needed to be finalist, but I guess it are quite a lot.
Grace :: I couldn’t care less for dooce, but I don’t like the hype about her and I don’t like the hype about being ‘dooced’ either. What did she write about her job that was bad? Maybe she might just have worked a little better. Bosses will ‘accept’ quite alot if you’re a good employee/worker.

But i love dooce. anyone who said anything negative should send her an apology card. didn’t she used to post an address where you could send cards and stuff? surely not her home address. she’s not that stupid right? something like: 1357 Sherman Avenue, Salt Lake City, UT 84105 ? she’s very nice and such a good writer. why does everyone pick on her anyway?
