...What About The Chicken You Just Saw

faceless and morons

September 26th, 2006 by WebMatrix · 1 Shared a Little Bit of Ignorance Wisdom

I haven’t mentionned our chin-ups for a long time anymore. Why? Because I stopped. It got boring, there was no challenge anymore. After only some weeks my colleague and I really were laughing about what we did, it had become a joke. 308 was the number of pull-ups I did on my last day. SInce then he has been trying to get me into it again, but I always answer that it was a thing for morons.

Why would anyone been interested in that many pull ups a day? So I quit. Can you imagine today that dork tells me he started eating creatine? Exactly. FOR.MORONS. OK, ok I do know creatine isn’t that harmfull, but I strongly believe in the stepping-stone theory. And why did countries such as France and Germany ban the use of it?

To deal with my latest addiction, podcasts audio and videocasts I have ordered today a new external hard drive. 60GB of space more. Now I won’t have to delete the pods casts anymore.

Of course there are plenty humourous audio and videocasts out there, iTunes being one of the better providers. Sadly Blogeplosion has decided to drop their pod-directory. They seem to have missed the boat… honestly they did, how can one ignore the influence of this medium nowadays.

Faceless, the diaries of an anonymous london girl

Anyway, the voyeur in us will probably like Faceless. The diaries of an anonymous london girl. The girl calls her voicemail at irregular times and afterwards her voice gets digitally remastered, to maintain anonymosity. Sometimes boring but highly intriguing and addictive. Surely a favourite of mine. Get it over iTunes.

For those of you who can deal with politically incorrect videocasts, sketches, I strongely recommend the Ministry Of Unknown Science. Get there iTunes weekly videocast here.

I think those 60GB will be full pretty fast. :D

My biggest problem with podcasts is finding good ones… I don’t really have time to sift through the thousands that are out there but I love to download a few, and give them a listen while I am traveling. Will definitely check out the two recommendations you gave, thanks!
