Am I Famous Now…

...Many Authors Go Crazy

finally a site slower than digg.com

December 2nd, 2006 by WebMatrix · 2 Made Me Smarter

and it is AT MY BLOG!

Isn’t that territastic?

While WP2.1 still is in Alpha stage I don’t have to worry too much and hurry with the new theme, although lately after Alpha the final release, also called Beta, follows. But still I won’t hurry, because I know what Web3.0 will bring : Alpha previews for everyone with internet connection and than in a further stage invite only modus for the beta final working platform.
There will be no need anymore to *cast anything, because the government will *log everything.
Old media join the New Bubble and the survivors of the dotcom are already planning the next era Web3.0 parties. As from now [sic].
Enough of jabbering.

Still, I wanted to implement something new on this site : the page, even slower than digg.com. Come stalk me at my online life stream!

PS : I decline every responsibility if the page happen to work in IE. It should work since the page consists out of tables (yes, it are tables with retrieved data :P) I suppose that even Opera might display the site correctly. Again I decline every responsibility .

Holy crap…that’s like your are your own big brother. I like it though in a weird twisted stalker kind of way because I want to know how it works!!!

Lisa, basically it just retrieves all the feeds you integrate in it, but some such as del.icio.us and mag.nolia don’t work (yet). Nor does the Google Reader shared items feed function properly.

At the moment it only displays the feeds and they don’t get integrated in the database yet.
Big Brother, yes… but why not make it easier for the system. They know everything already anyway.

I kinda like the idea of documenting my online life up to a certain degree and the concept of being able to check what I was listening to, and what blog entries/articles I liked at the particular moment/that day (Digg/Shared items in Google Reader) I wrote an entry, seems rather interesting to me.
Although my blog isn’t my homepage, I sometimes catch myself reading my archives. And I think it is a cool concept to be able to check music, mood and so on years later.
