No matter how much the charity influences my life, I still enjoy the work and working with former homeless people. So a little and positive update about the organization and its members.
Last weeks were strange, hard and a little negative. Members had been stealing from the organization, there was hardly any work discipline and so on, but this majorly was our own fault because we were too nice. We learned from it tho. Alot even. But that’s not what this post is about.
Today we got confirmation of something we have been working on the last weeks. 6 of our members can participate end october to a 10 day long movie course, in collaboration with a professional BBC film crew. Basically they will be working 10 days long on the set, this combined with some theoretics.
Some weeks after the end of the 10 days they will make a movie about homeless people and their life. This project (and both movies) are planned to be aired on BBC.
Although this will have a huge influence on the daily work at the organization I wish to use some blogger’s language here : YAY! FUCKING YAY!
