I got fined this morning. £60. I normally don’t do it because I respect people with disabilities but the parking spot at the local Costa Coffee was taken. Only 50 meters further was a spot for disabled persons. I just needed a coffee, yes I was in a rush and hadn’t had any coffee yet today, so I went to Costa Coffee. STFU.
I gear up and park my car in that spot. When I get out, it was only going to be 2 minutes anyway since the Costa Coffee seemed empty, a traffic warden shouted at me

When I came back, quad espresso in hand, the cops were already waiting for me and fined me. £60.
I merited that one. At least I didn’t get towed like last time (no, that time I parked double). :D

JF, I totally agree with the fine. I knew it could happen and I know how fast they are here, especially in that street. So I was fully aware that I might have to pay, but desperately wanted coffee.

LOL, the parking fine normally would only have been £10-£15, enough to justify the morning coffee. :D
