Long time I haven’t written about the US anymore. Obviously I didn’t leave beginning last month. Why? Still green card problems. Yes I do know I am only a stupid Belgian bartender.
I just went to check my snail mail. I got mail!
From whom? Immigration? No, that would have been too ironical. The sender is my former employer. They (finally) want to help me with the issue and have written me an ‘a*skicking’ reference. They also commited to find me a job (read outsource me) in any major town of my choice in the US.
Can anyone please explain me why this makes me feel even better on this lovely sunny day. Burocracy kills the economy. Did I make an error when the letter slipped immediately after having read it almost automatically in the shredder?
Oh well I guess everyone has those weeks. Actually I thought I was doing pretty well this week. Last 48 hours have belearned (f*ck me if that is a word) me. This surely is a week to forget ASAP.
3 have made me smarter ↓
