As I am working on my new ‘intermediate’ design, I have a mockup which has already been changed strongly 1 times. Basically I am at intermediate 4.0Alpha now. I guess it will become a ‘full remake’ with loads of new stuff and future features I always wanted to integrate here.
Stealing Digging quite a lot of Jonathan’s design and browsing other heavily CSS’ified sites, I decided I will implement a CSS-design gallery with preview of sites I like, quick links and everytime often after having made a design, write a ‘The making of’ with the technical details.
I don’t even know anymore how version 1 or 2 of the remake looked. 3 was based on 1024, 4 will be 800, with the future option for a dockable second sidebar. And even a third one resolution depending. Big screen resolutions will get punished. Hey, I need adpixelspace. You got a big screen, get over it. Version 4 will also have a ‘navigation footer’
All the time while doing it I wanted to have a comment post form NEXT to the posts, like Jonathan has. If you don’t see it next to the post but under the comments, click the little green arrow right of the comment form. I actually had a first ‘fixed comment area, with scripta.culo.us effect for the reboot, but a cookie issue forced me to take it down again.
Just like my Firefox (post planned) also my blog is a growing collection of plug-ins. Sometimes new ones are integrated and other ones disappear. Some are tested, but don’t get implemented aso. Why not share all the hours I sit in front of extensions and test them.
Besides that I am a former CMS-boy, so I always liked to have loads of information together. And damn I really do like Jonathan’s design. Actually the reboot hype around other designs has totally escaped me. But his design, I could just take it and put it here. And yes it has certainly helped grow the concept of the once more retarded ‘intermediate’ redesign. Because it fuckin’ roxXx.
So does sIfr, a thing I discovered some months ago. And cry me a fucking stream if Jonathan uses it as well.

Egos and Empires…
Ara Pehlivanian gives a wonderful how-to on becoming a blog snob. I fear that I follow a few too many of his “tips”. Communication One of the things I like to do is be available to chat. All my info……
