Automattic had a busy day today. Not only did Wordpress 2.1 get released after 2 weeks of hectic Beta and RC testing1, but also Akismet for Wordpress was released in a new version : 2.0.
Before you upgrade to WP 2.1 make sure that you have checked the compatibility of the plugins you use in your actual Wordpress install.
1 Those 2 weeks were worse than the period before Redmond released Service Pack 2 for Windows XP, with a new beta build every other day.
Spam comments are not supported and will be deleted.
This site supports a dofollow policy for comments, accordingly I do reserve the right to remove your URL if your comment seems to be nothing more than a plug to your site. This is a non-discutable decision from my side.

Yes. I have UTW and comments can break the tags. Would kinda suck with my whole navigation based on tags. ;-)
Besides that I even didn’t run any Beta or RC this time. :P
